Goals for the 26th year

Quit Smoking.
Write to Someone I Admire (Can be anyone from friend to celebrity).
Send 27 Post Cards (I miss connecting with people outside of the internet).
~~Leave the State for vacation.~~
Pay off my credit cards.
Give handmade gifts for special occasions. (Due to my schedule, I will give as many as I can)
Publish writing.
Sky dive or bungee jump.
Start a work out routine.
Debate with someone and try to see their side.
Walk for a cause.
Take a dance class.
Read a book a month (at least).
Give a gift to a stranger.
Hang out with my brother more often.
Seek Grammar/Writing Education Opportunities.
Volunteer my time outside of school.
Stop to reflect on the good things. (May decide to blog it, may decide to write it down in a journal).
Maintain a sick time balance at work.
Save up for a cushion/emergency fund.
Slumber Party/Diva Evening. (I miss sleep-overs!)
Learn to walk in heels!
Bring lunch to work (at least 3x a week).
Take a financial workshop.
Learn to cook/cook more often.
Go Camping!
Stop spending all my money on coffee!

So I ended up in the Emergency Room last night for severe abdominal pain. -=chuckles=- This is the part where I scream at the heavens, to cut me some slack. I am feeling better today but all this stuff that has been going on for the last month has got to stop. The doctors are very very worried about my sudden drop in weight. The abdominal cramping/pain is nothing new. I get that every time I eat really. Last night it felt like someone was putting a boot heel into my belly. So to the hospital I went. That was at midnight. I didn't walk out until 5 this morning. They gave me some fluids because I was dehydrates and some pain meds. I have to follow up with my doctor on Thursday.

The crappy part of all this is that I had my review yesterday. I knew my attendance was going to be an issue. I seriously have had a terrible year for medical problems. Between the stomach and the teeth man, I have been missing a lot of work. Grim called and left a message on my boss's phone this morning. She called me around noon to get the details and she was just concerned and she felt like because she had mentioned my getting sick. She jinxed me. -=giggle=-

Alright. That's it for personal stuff.

In Knitting news, I worked a little bit on the sock last night. I have a ton of patterns but none of the specific yarn needed at the moment. I just need to find patterns for the yarn I have. I definitely want to knit up the Head Vampire yarn soon. What a cool name for yarn. I also joined the Harry Potter Sock/Scarf Kit Swap. I can't wait for it to begin!! I think that's about it for now.

Oh, a couple of people have asked me about my kitties. They are both doing fine. Sigh hasn't had another accident since we put the second kitty litter box in the bathroom. Kiya stopped vomiting finally, so she is feeling better as well.

Another question was raised of where the Head Vampire Yarn came from. That particular yarn is out of stock I believe but you can find others like it here. I believe it's under sKNITches on the left side.

Secret Pal, You Kick Arse!

Look at all my goodies!!

I actually recieved them yesterday but I had a hellish 7 hours spent entirely on typing up a report. I was not coming near the computer for anyone or anything. Not even if I had to reach the police via internet. I would not type another word. -=giggle=- Today, I feel alright enough to come on the computer for a bit. I took pictures of each so you can see everything. I got a pair of Pirate Socks, they go to my upper thigh. A pair of really adorable shoes! I tried them on and they are just a little too big, nothing that an insert won't fix though. A drop spindle! Beautiful purple fiber and A Spinner's Companion, then a skein of yarn called Rebecca and a skein of yarn called Anex (I believe). The Spindle, I will admit, intimidates me. I am sure I will get the hang of it but I am nervous. She already started off some for me, so I am going to watch some videos on it tonight or tomorrow. I probably won't get the chance to do anything with it until this weekend. It's going to be hell week at work. My Secret Pal also gave me a clue to her identity. Apperantley we have a mutual friend online. I have been racking my brain trying to figure it out but I am blanking. I will just have to wait for the postcard next week. Thank you Secret Pal! You have been more than awesome, you have been superb, fantastic and wonderful!

Aren't they pretty? I think I am going to have to get some more for her though. Speaking of which, that reminds me, I need to email her. I haven't been up to much lately dears. I started on another small project for my SP. I have been seriously running wild on the net, looking for cute little patterns to knit up. I realized I hadn't made her anything and I really wanted to. So I have one thing I am going to put in there but I wanted to make something to match. I improvised and I am creating something else. Show you when it's all done.

Oh, I know what has been taking away from my knitting time. Video Games. I am completely addicted to Eternal Darkness. Someone came up with the clever idea to make the Wii play Game Cube games. Oh my god! This game is tooo scary and I love it! No I adore it in fact! It's so hard for me to get into video games. I usually just like watching them. The last game I beat was another scary game, Fatal Frame II. Oh, I musn't forget that Harry Potter II (video game) has been sucking up time too.

For now, I think I am off. Thank you again SP! I can't wait to thank you by name!

Why Hello There..

I promised pictures and I had every intention of putting them up yesterday but my batteries in my camera died. So without further ado, pictures.

First off, here is the drop stitch scarf I was working on as a little side project. I finished it in about a day and a half. It's nice because it's light and cute enough to wear in the summer.

I also finished my mother's washcloths. You can find those under "Assorted Washcloths". They're the newest set on my flicker account. Other than that, I decided to knit something for my secret pal. Here is a sneaky peak of what she's getting.

Just a taste, in case she has figured me out. I have a cute idea of how to reveal myself. Speaking of Secret Pals. Thank you two times over for the skull stitch markers. I love everything you have given me but those take the cake. Simply because all my other stitch markers are way to big for the projects I have been working on lately.

Work has been busy and this week has been a bit of a pain. I have been having a hard time waking up in the morning. Thank God my boss is nice. She doesn't mind that I have been late the last two days. It's not like I don't make up the time or anything but still most bosses really frown on that. I have an appointment with my Financial Aid Advisor to go over the possibility of working part time and school full time. We checked into new apartments on Monday. I called all the numbers today. The cheapest was $700 dollars for a 2 Bedroom. Currently I don't want to spend that much. The other 5 were in the thousand catagory. No go for that lot, move onto the next area.

Oh! Something unrelated to knitting. I'm starting to write a bit again! -=does a dance=- I am not going to go into a lot of detail about it yet. When I continue and make it to 20 pages I'll rant about it. It's been 3 years since I have written anything. So one page is an accomplishment. -=giggle=-
