Saturday To Now

Yesterday was Grim's brother's College Graduation, I was going to stay at home because I was worried about Sigh. After noticing the fact that all he was doing was sleeping, I decided to go. It was so great seeing him up there getting his Economics Degree. He also graduated with honors so he was asked to give a speech. It was well written and he did a wonderful job in presenting it.

Following that all of us. Grim, His mom, dad, grandparents and sister filed into our apartment and we hung out until we could go to the resteraunt for our reservations. So at around 8:15 pm we sat down at this lovely Italian place. The food was magnificient, on a level I will never be able to describe in print. Everything was absolutely delicious! I had a veal dish that was amazing. I had never eaten veal before and I wanted to give it a try. For desert, my favorite, coffee and cannolis.. The devil couldn't make a better desert to entice me with. It was wonderful. It's a family run place called Cafe' Italia, if you're ever in Albany, New York. Look it up, it's wonderful. It's pricey but well worth the money.

Afterwards, Grim and I came home and hung out until bed.

This morning I got the main things I wanted to get done out of the way. I cleaned out my clothes and took them to the Goodwill. I picked up a couple of sweaters that I could try recycling for the yarn and found another White Wolf book for Grim and Animal Farm for myself . Then to the book store. Having seen Fitted Knits, I can honestly say that I will probably never own the book. There are few things I can actually see myself wearing. I mean I think I liked two patterns, but that's not enough for a 30 dollar book. I did see another book I am DYING to have. It's Knitting Lingerie Style by Joan McGowan-Michael. The patterns are beautiful! I didn't get it even though I wanted to. I thought I would pull it out of the library and see how many patterns I liked out of it before I bought it. Then I went to the library. I got the new Type O Negative album. I have only heard one song, so I am not sure if it is listen worthy yet. I also pulled out another knitting book that I am going to flip through soon.

Then I came home and set to my task. I have to learn a little more. I ended up screwing up a sleeve and a half but I got enough out of it I think. Here's a picture...

Then, of course, Mr. Sigh wanted to see what I was up to. Here are a couple of pictures.

Isn't he adorable! -=giggle=- He's doing really well now. He isn't as sedated, so he's been enjoying being home again. We find out in about 9 to 10 days exactly what the removed from his face. I pray it's not malignant. That's about it for now... I started One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest today, it sort of stinks since I know how it's going to end but I am pushing on. I have heard from many that it is a great book. So I wanted to give it the chance it deserves.

George Orwell is awesome. I loved the animal farm. I remember reading it in 4th grade and being hooked. My mother thought I was weird, since it had all of this political connotations.

I've never had a cannoli before. I heard they're really good.

Oh, I did just got that Joan McGowan book. (I went through amazon and paid $19 for it..*wink wink, nudge nudge*) I love it.

I'm glad to see Mr. Sigh is doing better. He looks exactly like my cat though. Accept my cat is a gray tabby. They both have that similar chunkiness going on though. :D

If you ever want to read a good thriller, relic is a good one. I read it three times. The movie was poor, but the book is great. :D

    Get better, Sigh!

I keep looking through the sweaters at our Goodwill, hoping to find some good wool. :)

Mr. Sigh is too sweet, it looks like possession is 9/10ths of the law. I think that sweater might be his.
