|The Knit-In at Barnes and Nobles was a ton of fun! I never knew there were so many knitters in our area! I don't think Barnes and Nobles was prepared for the turnout either. We practically took over every free piece of ground we could. The entire 3 1/2 hours I was there I concentrated on Luis's scarf. I am nearly done but I think I am going to have to pick up another skein of Misti Alpaca. Which stink since I have only a little bit more to go. The scarf is going to be exceptionally long though. I hope he likes it, if not, I'm telling him to send it back. -=giggle=-
Oh, I picked up a book while I was at the Knit-In, it's called Sensual Knits. It's not as sexy as it sounds, most of the patterns are very form fitting and flattering. I couldn't resist I simply had to buy it. Just like after the event I just had to go to Joannes and pick up more yarn. -=giggle=- Seriously there was a reason for it. I needed to get more yarn to start on another baby blanket and infant set. My cousin is due to have her baby in about a month and I want to have it done.
Other than that I have 2 hearts sewn on Brianna's 2-Hour Bag. It's looking too cute. I'll post pictures when I get it all finished up.
Grim just promised me that he was going to get me a ball winder for my birthday! He was watching me wind a ball of Cascade yarn for my monk hat and he noted how miserable and bored I looked. -=giggle=- So he promised he would buy me one. Wippie!
That's about it, I'll post pictures of the Knit-In when I get them resized.
